Pen + Brush is a 131-year-old not-for-profit in New York City fighting for gender equity in contemporary art and literature. We provide a platform and a community that showcases the work of women, non-binary and female-identified transgender artists and writers to a broader audience. We are motivated by a mission to give work of talent and substance a chance to be seen and fostered outside of trends, market pressure, and perpetuated systematic biases.
